Workshop on Petrel

Overview:
This Petrel academic course will cover a basic introduction to the
software, usage, and a guide to workflows which can be used. Sample
datasets will be provided for students to use to integrate
surface/outcrop/image/geological information into a a 3D spatially
accurate dataset. A brief run through how to generate reservoir models
will also be given. It is emphasised that this is an introduction; if
users will be using Petrel regularly, then please go on an official Petrel

'Dr. Jamie Pringle is a Lecturer in Applied geophysics and Data
Visualisation at Keele University. He has over 8 years experience
using Petrel in various research projects.'
Costs & Registration Details:
The course will cost £20 per student, and the student will have
to cover their own transport and accommodation costs.
The number of students attending the course is limited to 15.
