Overview:
GPR in Sedimentary Environments Session - Call for Papers. A special session supported by the Geological Society, EIGG & BSRG (Building on the successful 'GPR in sediments' meeting at Burlington House, Aug 2001) will be held as part of GPR2004 the Tenth International Conference on Ground Penetrating Radar.

Session Scope:
In the past decade, ground penetrating radar (GPR) has evolved into one of the most popular tools for investigating, characterising and interpreting near-surface, sedimentary environments. This special session of GPR2004, supported by the Geological Society aims to promote the wider context of sedimentary GPR research by bringing together researchers in fields as diverse as sequence stratigraphy, geomorphology, surface processes, sedimentology, karst environments and reservoir modelling.

Papers are invited on all aspects of sedimentary GPR research, both in oral and poster form. Full details of the submission format, registration and presentation process can be found on the GPR2004 web site.

Important Dates:
Deadline for Submission of Abstracts January 11th 2004
Deadline for Submission of Papers April 11th 2004
