AAPG

Date:
26-27th February 2008

Venue:
Imperial College, London

Workshop Leader:
George Pemberton, University of Alberta, Canada

Overview:
BSRG with the assistance of the AAPG are very lucky to be able provide a short- course in ‘Applied Ichnology: The Use of Trace Fossils in Sequence Stratigraphy, Exploration and Production Geology’. This course is an absolute must for any sedimentologist planning a career in the hydrocarbon industry or who would like to learn how to fully utilise ichnological techniques in their stratigraphic analysis. George is also 'the' world-leading expert in this field, thus should not be missed! The cost is TBC but is expected to be around £50 for the two days. This is substantially less than the professional course rate. Note that accommodation, etc, will have to be arranged by the students, and that the course is for BSc, MSc and PhD students only.
