Description: My work applies modern sedimentological techniques to poly-deformed and metamorphosed sequences. Particular focus is put upon the Neoproterozoic Grampian Group basin evolution and the palaeoenvironments it represents. This works needs sedimentology as well as petrology, structural geology and a knowledge of sedimentary geochemistry.
