Description: I work as the team Leader for the New Ventures team in Shell Canada, which involves searching for oil and gas in new unexplored acreage around Canada. In addition I am continuing to work on several sedimentological aspects that popped up while studying for my PhD in eastern Borneo, particularly rip currents, channel morphology and mangroves. However this has not stopped me from retaining an eclectic interest in sedimentology, particularly the interface between sediments and palaeontology (not forgetting dinos). Lastly I am working on bringing academia and industry a little closer together - yes, it is possible!
