Description: My research focuses on deep marine sediment processes. In particularly, I am interested in how sediments on slopes move, following catastrophic failure via the process of slumping. I am also interested in deep marine siliciclastic systems as a whole and specifically how these systems respond to long and short-term (<1 ka) changes in climate. At Manchester I will be pursuing these topics using the magical technique of 3D seismic!
