Description: My basic research documents the geological formation of Quaternary coral-reef systems and attempts to identify the ecological and sedimentary processes that control their initiation, development and demise. My applied research uses this basic knowledge to identify interactions between climate, ice-sheet dynamics and sea-level change which have taken place during glacial-interglacial cycles.
