The Annual General Meeting

The BSRG AGM is the most important event in the BSRG calender and is the focus for much of BSRG's activities. The meeting features an extensive academic and social programme which includes workshops, field trips, talk and poster sessions, and the conference dinner.

Masterclasses

A series of skills-based masterclasses aimed to broaden the skill-set of postgraduate researchers and early career scientists. Hosted by academic experts and industry leaders in pure and applied sedimentology.

Field Trips

Postgraduate fieldtrips are an often-overlooked component of the BSRG programme, yet they have generated some of the best discussion and enjoyment in the past. The fieldtrips provide an opportunity for postgraduate sedimentologists to broaden their field experience, to network with their peers, and to discuss theories and interpretations of 'classic' field areas.
